Getting ready for the show
With our first show one month away, the heat is on to get the inventory up to respectable numbers. I do all my carving with the knife in this picture, regardless of the size of the piece. That can tend to make the anxiety a bit more substantial during involved projects, but I just can't get the feel for other tools. These are what I have named "thinkin' logs" and I only need to make about ten more... they sell for $15.00 each. Supplies are currently being sought for ideas that must come to fruition in a rather timely manner, in other words... PRESSURE!

If this works out and you do it again next year, can I matte some prints and sell them?
Where is my skull??? :D
P.S. I like that photo.
sorry, glen danzig took your skull for his own... that means, its coming up in line!!
They look cool. Do you stain them?
In the carving kit I inherited from my grandma, I've got several different sizes of that very knife.
Still gotta start playing around with it...
Idren Clay,
How tall are the thinking logs? How long does it take to carve one?
Bless Up,
Lady Roots
these five here are about an inch and a half to two inches in diameter and stand seven to nine inches high, from start to finish, these arent finished, they need sanding, an hour to an hour and a half to make
the inch and a half thinking sticks would be good to carry in a pocket or a purse or possibly made to fit a key chain.
Good luck at the barbecue.I pray you sell out and have to take orders for more!
