Hand carved walking sticks for sale

Studio work for the last few weeks...

This is a 42" dogwood walking stick that I fashioned from a piece I found in the woods. The natural curl of the stick drew me to it, so I decided not to carve anything on it, just to let the wood speak for itself...

This is a 54" cedar hiking stick with a vine design I burned into it. I took the wood from a small cedar tree at my brother's place. We were loading firewood for him when I spotted the small tree and just couldn't resist...

These two photos are of a 53" sweetgum hiking stick with a face and grip carved into it. I located this piece a while back when I was walking to the other side of the property... I cut the piece out and used it for a while as a walking stick.

These two are from the second piece of cedar I took from my brother's yard. A 47" walking stick...

These two photos are of a 56" cedar hiking stick burned in a Tolkien theme. I chose the white tree, a few elvish runes, and Gandalf's symbol to place on the piece. The cedar for this piece I took from the back of my property, from a huge old cedar that I farm from on occasion...

These two photos are of a 53" oak hiking staff I carved and painted. I left the natural curve of the piece in the head of the carving allowing for the unsymmetrical look of the face, it fits the hand well. This piece I took from the limb of an oak that fell in my brother's yard a while back.

These five photos are of a 46" oak walking stick with a To Kill a Mockingbird design burned into it. It's the first in what I hope to be a series of book themed pieces. The oak for the piece I also took from the downed limb at my brother's place...

These two photos are or a 40" owl themed oak walking stick. the wood was also supplied by the same tree as the others...

These three photos are of a piece I made from a blade that I found many years ago at an old plantation site. I made the handle from an a piece of oak and laid the metal work. I've been very curious for years as to what the blade may have been used for on the plantation...

This image is of a 41" oak walking stick that has ended up being one my personal favorites...

This is a 41" elm walking stick that I did, I was interested in seeing how it would work if I left the bark on in places and stained the rest...

This photo is of a special piece I did for a Commander that trains Army Rangers... He uses it when in the field training, a very special piece for me..

These two are of a couple of the Santa walking sticks that I did, I used cedar from a tree that was cut down at my brothers place..

And I will end it up with one of a series of 7" gnomes that I carved from some left over scrap pieces...
