When you live in the woods....

you're surrounded by all manner of foliage...
your dogs bring you all sorts of gifts, in this
case it was a spine of some large creature...
turtles often come to visit
followed quickly by snails
birds nest in the kawasaki mule
deer will show up when you least expect it...
sweet, but you can't keep them around...

8:15pm, 91 degrees, 100% humidity, & storms
are coming, welcome to august in georgia....

i shore do miss it. It's been really humid and wet here, and when it gets like that it always smells like GA to me.

The deer are pesky. They like to come up in my back yard all the time. They'll stand in front of my hammock and just stare at it.

While keeping the little wanderer was never an option, I have seen the Yearling, it sure was fun while it lasted.
The storm video is the best though. To bad there wasn't more lightening.

Living in the woods is neat.
All the surroundings are nice.
It's different from living in the city.
Seeing the forest creatures are amazing in their natural setting is a gift from God.

The deer completely caught me of guard, I was still asleep when my brother woke me up to tell me that a deer had wandered onto our front porch.
